POLARIS RZR 800

POLARIS RZR 800 clutch kit

The Polaris RZR 800 is the SxS that really started to appeal to the masses and get owners from all across the globe in every riding situation having fun with their friends. Mud riders, rock crawlers, sand duners, desert racers, trail riders alike all loved the versatility of the new sporty SxS. It would go thru the nastiest mud, climb the biggest hills, race around motocross tracks, and handle great with its wheel base and track width. Since it appealed to so many people in every walk of life, we have had to develop different things for different riders. We have many different setups for all sorts of riders varying widely in price and performance depending on what you need. For starters we do offer an optimized clutch kit for each riding style that offers decent gains over stock. But our specialty is the new clutch setups we build, Our primary gives tons of gains over stock. Since our primary has twice as many weights in it as the stock clutch, it offers twice the clamping force to give you a firm engagement and keep you from slipping the belt. Our primary is also nearly a pound and a half lighter than your stock clutch to give you much better performance and acceleration and throttle response. Since our primary is a larger diameter than stock we are also able to give you the ability to run a higher top speed which really gives you benefits in low range, when running taller tires than stock you are forced to run low range and in stock form low range will only run about 22mph. Our primary being 1 / 4 inch larger diameter than stock will give you a taller gear ratio allowing you to run nearly 30-32mph in low range. This allows you to actually run from mud hole to mud hole without having to shift into high range. For the biggest tires and all these guys running 34+” tires the only way to go is our new setup with the larger diameter secondary and longer belt. With this setup we gain a huge gear reduction at take-off in order to give you the mechanical advantage to pull the larger tires with ease. Our primary and secondary and longer belt is a 30-33% gear reduction in the RZR 800 which will allow you to pull larger tires easier or do slow technical rock crawling better. With this setup, you can get the clutch locked up and drive along with such a slow crawl ratio the dash will still read -0-mph. For technical rock crawlers and mud riders this is by far the best setup money can buy. The longer and heavier 4 seat versions with larger tires than stock really benefit as well giving you the ability to pull the weight around with ease.
