The Polaris RZR 1000 has been a wonderful addition to Polaris line up. Desert racing exploded with the addition of the RZR 1000 because of its longer wheel base and incredible power. Mud riders love the width and power and awesome 4wd system and how big of a tire the machine will fit and pull. Cross country racers love its power and suspension and acceleration. Rock crawlers and rock bouncers have been building tube chassis dedicated rock crawlers and love the power and wheel base and suspension. The RZR 1000 is a popular machine for many reasons, and because of its popularity we have definitely worked on tons of them and been able to figure out what works best in each situation and riding style. We have an amazing setup for cross country and short course racing that will help drop your lap ET, speed up your rate of acceleration, lower your belt temps and run flawlessly and as fast as possible. In desert racing we have developed a setup that allows you to run the entire Baja 250, 500, and 1000 and never blow a single belt. We have customers that have won each of these races without ever opening the clutch cover. We clutch many of the top rock racers, cross country racers, desert racers, and have helped win numerous championships in nearly every race series in the US. We have customers in mud riding with as large as 40” tires that absolutely thrash their machine and can’t even blow the belt even when they try. Our setups are so perfectly dialed in that you can forget about belt issues. Listening to the video below you can hear this machine lay the power down in chest deep water and slop and the tone from the exhaust never changes. That means as the load increases, the clutch constantly up shifts and back shifts and maintains the proper gear ratio at all times which means you maintain the most power, keeping the clutch in the proper gear ratio, and have the coolest belt temps since the clutch maintains the proper gear ratio at all times. Our methods and practices are the same regardless of how you ride or where you ride, we want to allow your clutch to maintain the perfect gear ratio under any load or any situation so that you maintain peak power and the lowest belt temps.
