SHIPPING and PACKAGING

Any time you need to send in your clutches, whether it be for repair or servicing, you should always clean your clutches as best as you can. Yamaha owners need to disassemble their primary clutch by removing the 8 phillips head screws and digging out all the grease and mud and gunk out of the primary before sending it in. In other dry clutches, please take the time to blow the clutch off with air, or wipe them down. One of the most important things you should always do is BE SURE to wrap your clutch up good before you put it in a box to ship. One of the worst things I have to see and tell a customer is that their perfectly good clutch, was damaged or broken in shipping due to a lack of packaging. We have had thousands of clutches come in over the years, we have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. It is a terribly unfortunate thing that the people you pay to ship your items, don’t necessarily care about your items. Your item regardless of what it is, how delicate it is, WILL get thrown around like a basket ball at gym so you should ALWAYS make sure you wrap it up nicely so it wont get damaged in shipping. You should always package your item with the thought and idea in the back of your mind that your box will be dropped from 6ft. If you don’t package it with that in mind, you aren’t packaging your items properly. You need to be comfortable with taking your package, and dropping it from 6ft on any corner or flat on one of the sides, if you don’t think its packaged well enough to withstand dropping it, then you don’t have it packaged well enough. Be sure the items are wrapped and packaged well and tight inside the box to ensure their safety and to allow for your item to get to us safely without damage. Inside the box you should include your

A brief description of your machine, tire size, any bolt on or engine mods and performance enhancers. Also in your description of your machine, how you ride and use your machine. Since each rider and riding style can vary so much, we need to know as much about you and how you ride as we can in order to be sure to get your clutch setup perfect. Please send all packages to
